NPU video featuring some great piping. I understand that this is in support of a request with UNESCO for World Heritage status.

A compilation video of the South Wales Tionol 2016. Piping expertly provided by Emmett Gill.

Re: THE GREAT UILLEANN YOU-TUBE THREAD.
The main body of Emmett's pipes looks to be virtually horizontal in the video:- don't think I've seen one held quite as level as that before. I guess he's holding the bag low as well but I was wondering if the mainstock is tied in real low and well back. Can anyone elaborate?JR wrote:A compilation video of the South Wales Tionol 2016. He certainly either doesn't have a straight bass reg bar or he's got it under his left arm rather than sitting on his elbow.Driftwood wrote:The main body of Emmett's pipes looks to be virtually horizontal in the video:- don't think I've seen one held quite as level as that before. Yes- the body is almost horizontal. There is a folded bass separator, and the neck of the bag is the same angle as the chanter top inlet pipe. Not many play like this but it seems to work well!Driftwood wrote:The main body of Emmett's pipes looks to be virtually horizontal in the video:- don't think I've seen one held quite as level as that before. We have more specific performance videos of the weekend to be added to the youtube channel so stay tuned.

Re: THE GREAT UILLEANN YOU-TUBE THREAD.
Hi guys,
I forgot to post this here, my new, like a year old Rogge body with an Andy May chanter. Very happy with the hole set.
Some asturian music here:

Probably because of the tuning, or the painful lack of?PJ wrote:How did this one slip past? Paddy Keenan and Matt Molloy:
