CP: Joannie Madden Tune Book

Post by pastorkeith »

For those interested in a transcription book of Joannie's tunes from her solo albums (Whistle on the Wind, and Song of the Irish Whistle 1 & 2) as well as those done with CTL, Joannie put me in touch with Jean Lewis who has put together such a book.

Jean has provided the following information:
Please make out a check to Jean Lewis for $25 and send it to:
Jean Lewis
44 Twin Lakes Road
South Salem, NY 10590

Of course you may email Jean directly for more information - PM me for the email address

Enjoy!

I placed my order the day I posted the note - so I do not have it in hand as of yet.

I would also be interested, so let us know when you have it. To show us a single page is a good idea.

Don't bother with the sample page. Hurry and buy it. It is a well-done and wonderful publication. You will not be disappointed. I purchased one and my flute teacher has securely attached himself to it. So, without hesitation, I sent for one for myself.

I just received a check for $25 from Charles Quick from Brockvill, Ontario Canada.
Since someone recently asked me for permission to mention the book on the Chiff and Fipple, I'm assuming that Charles heard about the book there. (I'm not on the Chiff and Fipple list).

I don't have an email address for him. Do you happen to know what his email address might be? If so, I could save time by asking him to send an additional US$4 to cover the increased postage.

Thanks.
Jean

OK. Just to be clear. The price of this book is $25 plus $4 shipping. Correct?

Cost of the tune book is US$20. Postage to Canada is US9.00

I've sent off for mine. What a bargain for what looks to be a top quality product. :)

The cost of the book is $25 - including postage [for US orders only]. Outside US should contact Jean for shipping cost. If you have questions I am certain that Jean Lewis who produced the book for Joannie would be happy to answer them.

Price: US$20 plus postage US$5 for USA, US$9 for Canada

Post by BruceW »

Jean's been getting orders with odd amounts of money. The price is US$ 20 plus postage. For USA shipping, it's US$ 5 as has been said, and for Canada the shipping is US$ 9. If you'll give her a couple days, Jean's opening a PayPal account to make things simpler. Email her for specifics.

It's a great tunebook (250+ tunes) especially for those who have taken Joanie's classes. Accurate transcriptions, in a "large" format as the sample shows, making it easy to read.
