Yes I know Thom was having health issues, and so again I was asking if he, or someone taking his place is still fulfilling out orders. That thread you sent me is now 2 months old, and still didn't really have a definite yes or no answer to my question, but thanks.

This issue has become like a computer thread: You have to lead
with the things you already know, instead of just the question,
because no one knows if you already know it, and will waste
your time telling you old info.

Understandable Fearfaoin, and I apologize. I also read that link as well Denny. So, again... Is Thom or someone taking his place still running the Whistle Shop? As in taking in orders and shipping products out like before Thom's health problems? Neither one of those links provided really answered this, but rather informed of Thom's health problems.

Adding on, I don't mean to sound inconsiderate of Thom's health issues, I know they're serious ones and I wish him a speedy recovery in full. I'm just saying, I've done a lot of business with Thom's website, and he's a great person to do business with, so I was wondering if anything has changed in 2 or 3 months, be it him running the shop, or someone else he know's and trusts. That is all.

After not having played for awhile I got a hankering to buy a few new whistles about 3 weeks ago. I ordered from the Whistle Shop without a problem, same great service that I got when I ordered from them last year.

Tell us something.: I just wanted to update my location... 100 characters is a lot and I don't really want to type so much just to edit my profile...

The physical, actual shop site is closed and up for lease, for whatever that's worth (as of last Friday at about noon when I drove by).

Well said. I think we all would like an update on Thom...
Hopefully someone in the know will stop by with an update.

I shall go ahead and be a guinea pig and place an order on the online shop today and see what happens tomorrow.

Or perhaps not. The item I wanted no longer appears on the web site though it was there on Thursday of last week. Odd. Maybe I was looking at Whistle And Drum on Thursday rather than The Whistle Shop. Ah well. I suppose someone else will have to let us know what's up with The Whistle Shop.

I'll be the guinea pig. I wanted to order a couple of more whistles anyway. I'll let you know how it goes.

Okay, I've just ordered a Walton Mellow D and an Oak. Got the usual automated confirmation email. I'll give updates as they come.
