Thank you, but I'll pass. I am still recovering from my last night binge on another forum. I wonder if virtual drinking can become addictive?

Hey everybody. Missed you a lot. I have to say though, that I pondered whether I have developed an unhealthy addiction to the ol' Forum. It's bad at work because I rely on the Forum for a quick exit from my immediate surroundings while I am waiting to print things etc etc. I found myself checking news sites etc for quick infobits for stimulating the brainpan...

So, just for the heck of it, what did YOU do during the time the Pub was having its carpets cleaned??
How do you prepare for the end of the world?

Hmmm, what did I do? I read four books, kept tabs on the afflicted Gulf Coast region, got things sorted out in case I have to go there, went shopping, and learned Planxty Burke.

I notice the tables have been rearranged and cushions have been installed on the benches along the wall. Nice touch, Dale.

Is there any spring water to go with these pistachio nuts? And maybe some fresh veggies?

Tell us something.: I used to be a regular then I took up the bassoon. Bassoons don't have a lot of chiff. Not really, I have always been a drummer, and my C&F years were when I was a little tired of the drums. Now I'm back playing drums. I mist the C&F years, though.

I didn't really miss it. I bought a keg and surfed the blogs.

Checked out the flute, uilleann pipe, and whistle forums as usual. I don't usually spend all that much time in the pub anyway. Glad to see it's back though.
