Personally, I think the whole "depleted uranium fipple" business deserves another look. :twisted: :D :wink:

I know it's bad form to bump my own CP, but this brings something back to mind: You can actually purchase uranium oxide from depleted reactor rods at some ceramic supply houses. I have glaze formulas that use it as a yellow colorant, and somewhere in my leftover goodies from my old "Laughing Dragon Pottery", I have a pound or two of the stuff. Deadly poisonous, and I'd never use it in a glaze on anything remotely associated with foodstuffs, but it's still sold, still legal, and will still pop a scintillation counter up a few notches. Heh. And these guys think they're kiidding! O.O
