Hey, I had a lovely green shag carpet that color---except it was in the '80's. I used to threaten to take a lawn mower to it. I had a stucco ceiling too, but at least it didn't have glitter in it.

when I bought my first house (it was built in 1915, but had been "updated") the living room and dining room had avocado carpet. The floor plan was somewhat "circular", so the hallway and dining room butted up to the kitchen on two sides. The kitchen had "marilite" walls (a metal like sheeting used in the 1950's) in the same shade of green that highway street signs are. The floor in the kitchen was kelly green speckled linoleum. The formica counter tops were salmon pink.

Needless to say, I painted the walls before I even moved in (an apricot shade to pull the orange out of the counter tops), put new flooring down as soon as possible (a milk chocolate shade), and eventually got rid of that gosh awful carpet.

But - the house I own now is the first place I have EVER lived in that did NOT have a pink and gray bathroom!!!!! I hate pink and gray even more than I hate avocado!!!!!!! :o

See - PINK and gray - I brought the posting back onto Amar's tattoo!!!! :D

I would never, EVER imply anything of the sort.... I might, however, come right out and say it...... which I won't 'cause I don't think it is.
