Finally I've got my chanter back from Charles Roberts nowadays in Spain.
WOW! he is a wonderful pipemaker and I adore the sweet sound of his chanter.
The reed included played spot on, good responsiveness and in tune over the two octaves. Curious how it will play in a couple of weeks?
I know I have been saying a lot about mr Roberts in this forum but he is definitely worth the wait concerning his work.
Robert.

After these weeks the reed has indeed changed.... Being heavier to blow and not at all in that fine state it was when I got it hoping this is due to weather changes here in Sweden as it tends to get a bit warmer by the day.
Last week at a gig I had to swap the "new-old" chanter to my old Penny-chanter, It's good to have a reliable chanter anyhow since I didnt have any success in adjusting the C. Roberts Reed.
