No music in the inside stereo at the moment...it's a "Teach Me Irish" audio CD. At this point I can pick up about one word in 20 (if that), but it's fun to listen and get a feel for the rhythm of the language.

In my car CD changer, I've got Joanie Madden's "Song of the Irish Whistle 2"...gorgeous!

Tommy Peoples' Quiet Glen is what I'm listening to a lot these days, with Kitty Lie Over (Mick O'Brien and Caoimhín O'Raghallaigh as mentioned above) next on my to-buy list - especially after listening to them on the RTE radio program (check out the link in the thread on the pipe forum for a treat).

Right now a collection of whistle tunes. Before that the best of Cherish the Ladies and the Seldom Scene Anniversary. Listening to the whistle tunes to try and absorb the style.

Keep whistling

Enter the Haggis. An excellent Canadian Celtic Rock band.

Chieftains 1 is in one CD player and Portland (Kevin Burke and Michael O'Domnaill) in the other. In the cassette player is the second of three accompanying tapes to the Cathall McConnell Irish Penny Whistle I'm starting some relatively difficult tunes (for me), including Tommy People's Jig in A minor and The Musical Priest. Really interesting tunes.
