Tell us something.: From the land beyond beyond. From the time past hope and fear. I bid you, Genie, now appear! Well, the Genie did not appear but the notification to type at least 100 characters did so I am back and typing some more as you, if anyone actually sees this, can probably tell.

Perfect.
And many a poor man that has roved,
Loved and thought himself beloved,
From a glad kindness cannot take his eyes.

Tell us something.: I used to be a regular then I took up the bassoon. Bassoons don't have a lot of chiff. Not really, I have always been a drummer, and my C&F years were when I was a little tired of the drums. Now I'm back playing drums. I mist the C&F years, though.

A great loss.

Your CD and videos on Youtube together have brought pleasure to many people.

As with all well-respected traditional musicians, she will live on through the music she passed to those around her.

Hello

It was fitting that the Caniunti Ceoil program on TG4 last night was the program from Clare. Both Kitty and Joe Ryan were shown playing with a bunch of others (however artificial it looked).

When the program was ending the continuity announcer gave out the news of her passing over the credits and they displayed a photograph of Kitty at the end with the caption 1928 - 2008.

Many thanks Peter for introducing me to her music.

Your friend

That was a very artificial set up, she was told to come to Geraldine Cotter's house and had to play on arrival without a practice run, cramped in a corner with Eamonn's flute dripping on her and people she was not familiar to play with. She was very unhappy with it, she felt out of place (although she said her old friend Joe Ryan was very nice to her on the day)

I got word of Kitty's passing by way of announcement at a small concert Saturday evening.

She had to be an enrichment to your life, Peter.
