Aren't there at least two common jigs that get called "The Rolling Waves"?

There are two, at least. The two I know are the one claudine has posted in abc, plus The Lonesome Jig is also called The Rolling Wave by some people. That's why I put them into a set. They are too similar to be put side by each, so I break it up with Munster Buttermilk in the middle.colomon wrote:Aren't there at least two common jigs that get called "The Rolling Waves"?

I'd rather be atop the foothills than beneath them.

Well, the way it seems to be played around here (as well as how the notes are presented on thesession.org) the 5th part is pretty much identical to the 2nd part. So I guess you could call it a 4-parter but played ABCDB.

Finbar Dwyer's Favourite goes well with it as on Kevin Crawfords cd - In Good Company track 11
