Tell us something.: Been a piper about 20 years (uilleann), flute on and off over the years, classical and trad. Played classical piano growing up, bought one recently for my daughter to take lessons on, and got right back into it, but this time playing Irish tunes (Pádraig O'Reilly is my current idol).

WTB: B chanter

Post by fgibbons »

Hi,

I'm looking for a chanter in B. Anyone have something to sell? My dream stick would be (in no particular order) Quinn, Rogge, Kennedy, Wooff, Gleeson, but open to others too. Feel free to PM me, if that works better for you.

Happy New Year to all!

Happy New Year!

There's a Kennedy B chanter listed for sale by a seller in Florida on the uilleann obsession website. Don't know if its still for sale though.

Kind regards

I will be selling my B stick soon (and all of my other chanters and drones etc.)

It's a Kennedy B in ebony with boxwood mounts.
The reed cap was made by David Boisvert.
It was owned by Chiff's ex-moderator, Joe Smith.
You can probably see some pictures floating around on the site somewhere.
I picked it up from Doc Jones site a few years back.

Of all the chanters i have owned it is my favourite.

Steve Vickers made me a set of B drones to go with it, but I am willing to split them.
