I heard Tommy Klein walloped the spot in the Piper's Chair one year there? Are instructor's allowed to be in the Piper's Chair? If so, maybe Mr. D'Arcy can WALLOP the SPOT, too... (by the way, that review has sent me over the top, and I'll be getting the album soon! Santa didn't deliver it)

Tell us something.: I am interested in the uilleann pipes and their typical -and broader- use. I have been composing and arranging for the instrument lately. I enjoy unusual harmonic combinations on the pipes. I use the pipes to play music of other cultures.

Don't know about that, but I do recall someone (from the elevated position of the pipers' chair) was able to spot a wallop that had crept in from the out-of-doors and was nesting in the ficus. It was ushered outside. No harm done.

Tell us something.: I love uilleann pipes and I have become obsessed with them. But now the antispam software is just irritating the hell out of me so I am typing random crap to get past the minimum 100 character limit.

Wish I could make it, but the Corps doesn't always let the dogs off the porch! I might be able to sneak up for the concert. I also don't have a set of pipes anymore......I need to work on that. My roommate plays too...I'll have to see if I can drag him up. Two Marines on a road trip from Monterey to San Fran? Hehe sounds like trouble.

Yes, the cobblers wax is great stuff. I used it on the wood/metal joints on my bass drone. Works a treat! Smells nice too
