Big Pipes Bash !!!!



You are invited to our annual pipes party located in the beautiful Skyline Village Inn here in Little Switzerland, near Spruce Pine, North Carolina on Sept 22-23. Call for reservations:

This is our 4th year doing this. Unlike Tionols this get together has no agenda, no imported musicians from Ireland, no classes or instructors. Just a bunch of friends sitting around playing tunes and complaining about Uilleann pipes and reeds, and drinking Guinness and eating local BB Q. Fiddler’s and Fluters are welcome.

By the way we have 11 acres of land and will allow 4 tents on our land for those with less money.

It's never good for any musician to get two tents.

Pipers are famous for their shanty town/encampments.
Any more than four becomes a critical mass, and the next thing you
know they have set up a local government and vote you off your own land!

(The shopping carts are used to carry supplys and tools for reed making.)
