Uilleann pipe stickers

Post by rorybbellows »

I have a friend who works in a label printing factory and we are considering going into business printing Uilleann pipe related stickers. They could be car bumber stickers or pipe case stickers or anywhere else you may want to stick them. So I'm looking for suggestions for funny quotes or sayings for the labels, things like "Uilleann pipers pump their bags " and such like . The more suggestions the better.

Thanks
RORY

Tell us something.: Sets in D and B by Rogge and flute by Olwell, whistles by Burke and Goldie. I have been a member for a very long time here. Thanks for reading.

Good idea. Personally I would like a pretty Na Piobairi Uilleann sticker for my case, or maybe one that says its the national instrument of Ireland.

None of the following suggestions are likely to help you in your quest for sticker slogans....
...but anyway, here they are.......

"More power to your elbow"

"Octopus Sex Toy Inside"

I always love Robbie Hannan's quip
"The pipes are a wonderful instrument and I look forward to the two days each year that they work"

Another I have heard somewhere:
"The only thing worse than tuning is not tuning"

There was a great T shirt kicking about that said
"And on the 8th day God made the Uilleann pipes"
I got a copy made for myself
****************************************

....nobody said this would be easy......

i'd suggest something along the lines of those ovoid 'national' bumper stickers ("IE", "GB", "US" , "FR", "DE", "NL: , etc..) but ours would simply say "UP".

None.
Everything else about the instrument makes me suicidal, so I guess I'll just sit in the dark and suffer.

Tell us something.: I’m changing my location to my actual address. My previous location was a reference to Joyce’s Finnegans Wake.

Great idea, but, apparently, the Salt Lake City Pipers' Club already thought of this one:
