Joe, it was such a treat to meet one of my favorite online folk in person. The pleasure was mine! I just wish we could have visited more, and stayed for your set. Will you be playing at McGurk's next weekend? I have some friends coming down for the convention and I'll sic them on ... er, send them your way. :-D

You holler if you need anything, OK? We're just up the road in ol' KY.

As for Kathleen, Bill, Dean, Gary, Autumn, Mike Mullins (who puts on a truly class event) and the rest of ye pioby louts ....

P.S. Michael Cooney's Coyne C# set should be classified as an illegal narcotic substance.
Deja Fu: The sense that somewhere, somehow, you've been kicked in the head exactly like this before.

Cooney's C# is outrageous!!!!!! AMAZING!
Give a man a wooden reed and he'll play in the driest of weather,
Teach a man to make a wooden reed,
and the both of ye will go insane!

Wish I'd been able to stay after the Thurs/Fri reedmaking sessions, but Kathleen, Cathy, et al, I had loads of fun meeting (and whittling/sanding/fussing with) you all!
