Sometimes Frustrated, sometimes not.......

Post by Brazenkane »

I live in a city where there is not a single outlet for traditional music. The isolation can become highly frustrating. So, forgive me chancing this ... c/f is one of the only outlets available to me. I just felt like sharing a few tunes...thank you for listening.

Just be aware that not everyone may be able to access your SoundCloud tracks unless you make them downloadable as well.

Perhaps the isolation has been good for you. You sound great!

What have you tried doing, to create a local outlet? If its futile, I totally get it ! but Im curious as to what steps youve taken, 'off-line'...to change the situation?

I was expecting the reel so thee was an element of surprise there in my response.

I listened to the clip and played it so I must have at least the tune before. Is it the version JOBM played on the Piper's Rock?

wow my friend, that sounded brilliant to me! Isolation has done wonders for your playing.

He astonished as well as delighted!

Thank you everyone for the VERY encouraging (and humourous) remarks! That was good medicine for the frustration. Perhaps, sometime in the future I'll post some others... (?)

Peter, I'm really going to have to figure out where I got that from now... II heard it mannnny times before I ever learnt it. I thought that perhaps Ennis played it? Is it also on Dickie Deegan's record(?).. but it was Harry Bradley's playing that got me off my arse to learn it.

Thanks again!
