:-? Im looking for a uilleann piper in the savannah GA USA area. im 16 and play irish music on the accordian (and piano sort of).I just built a penny chanter and am teaching my self.it seems that either bottom D gurgles or with a stronger reed adjustment i cant hold high A or B not to mention that i cant hold high C# or D. thanx

The closest piper to you I believe is Mike Hay in Augusta. I sent you his email in a PM.

I'll be in Savannah on the weekend of Feb 4-5 (actually Tybee Island), but will likely go to the session in Savannah on Sunday. I'm trying to get down there about once a month or so.

I'd be happy to help you with your reeds and help you get started.
