Same here... I saw that website 2-3 years ago and I had NO IDEA that reed production involved acres and acres of cane fields. Staggering when you consider the numbers.

Ok a little math here. Please don't get bored .
I see : 1 good tube of cane = 4 good reeds .
1 stalk of cane= 8 good sections ,, 4x8= 32 reeds ,, stay with me ,,,,,,,,,,,,
50 stalks per bundle ,,,,,,,,, = 8x50 = 400 .
That is 32 reeds X 50 = 1600 .
50 bundles per the photo e.i. harvest here ,, . equals [ = ] 1000.
So . that is 1600.x 1000. = 160,000.00 reeds . Yeay !! " 50 bundles " . Thanks Alan B.
