Well, it isn't hard to understand given her beauty. I'd love to hear a sample of her...perhaps on Clips and Snips? Awww, gowwwan! :D

With luck (and patience, I promise....), this will be very close to what my regs are going to look like in a few months+.

I am still stunned by the prospect!

With the Siberian Wooly Mamoth Ivory mounts and rings that would make her at least 10,000years old...probably older...thats why we probably get on so well

That's, like, the most gorgeous 1/2 set I've seen in a long time. Did you get your O'Briain chanter 2nd hand, or new from him? Does anyone know how long O'Briain's list is right now? I'm on the market for a 1/2 set........

Also, are you happy with your Boisvert drones? I hear he makes great drone reeds, but haven't heard a sample. I want something rich and full - not something that just buzzes along aimlessly, but rather comforts and strongly supports the chanter sound.

Thank you,

It's a second hand chanter, made in 2001... The guy who sold to me this chanter told me that Cillian O'briain has stoped making U-P. :sniffle:

This chanter is very very good: gorgeous tone, in-tune, easy to play, etc.

David Boisvert's drones (+reeds) have a rich & powerful tone, and are easy to tune... I will write a long review in few months when I get the regulators. (for the moment, I'm very happy with his drones: They are sweet & they sound good).

Hornpiper, you may contact Ben Walker... His Half-set (with O'Briain chanter) should be "for sale" in few weeks... I think

ps: Excuse my english!

Here's a set I'm just finishing and sharing here on behalf of a local piper and lurking C&F'er, Wally S.

That is a beautiful set Uilliam.

I have considered getting a Rogge set in snakewood as well. Not that I can afford them now, but I would like a 3/4 C set eventually.
