I have seen pics like that before from the US. Usually it is with AK47 and M16 assult rifles instead of pipes with some guy called Bud or Buck talking about the future "Free Southern Homeland".

Geez, Pat, that's a great photo. Brilliant idea. My first thought was: NPU 2011 calendar centerfold!!! My second thought was: Holy cr*p, there's got to be at least $100K worth of instruments there...

We were doing a little basic math (very basic, we are pipers) and came up with about $350K worth of pipes--there is a Kenna set and a (genuine) Taylor set in there!

Never piss off your pipemaker. No telling what might happen. We also tried to see how much labor was involved in the making. 34 sets x 5 years waiting equals more time than I have :-)

Are these the L Rowsome pipes from a thread a while back?

If so, they're really nice. How do they sound?

Thank you, they came back to me and are doing great. I'm doing my best to do them some justice.

That set reminds me of the blind William Kennedy set. Maybe it is just the boxwood and ivory, but I think the similarities go further still.
