Tell us something.: I am interested in the uilleann pipes and their typical -and broader- use. I have been composing and arranging for the instrument lately. I enjoy unusual harmonic combinations on the pipes. I use the pipes to play music of other cultures.

There has been a modification to our line-up this year. Benedict will not be able to make it but we are very lucky to have Joe Kennedy join us instead.

Just a quick reminder that the SCUPC is continuing with last year's fun (and punitive!) fee structure, so be sure to register by October 15 to get "early bird" price of $85 for this year's tionól. See the club website, http://www.socalpipers.com/tionol_2010_details.html for details.

Hey Larry, save your breath for blowing into those pipes.
