Volcanic Ash

Post by madfortrad »

As volcanic ash seems to be affecting just about everything in the world at the minute, I wonder will it have any effect on pipes? :D
I mean it could not make them any worse... right????

Nothing physical with the pipes although did have to catch the ferry then drive to Fermanagh to pick up my C drones as my Belfast flight was cancelled. Worth the drive though :D

You'd likely have a lot more buildup from smoky pubs. Bleh.

It could be a problem if you were piping at 20,000 feet. But not all flights are affected by the ash cloud, my mother in-law flew over to see us when all other flights had been cancelled . Apparently flying by broom is not affected by the ash cloud.
