The Breton association of uilleann-pipers Gan Ainm are very sad to inform you of the tragic death of Alain Froment , one of the greatest pipe-makers the world has known .

I can hardly believe the terrible news,a sad day for his family and friends and the piping community.I think in time he will br remembered as one of the greatest pipemakers who has ever lived.God bless him
