OK, last call--we're just about at capacity for the workshops, so if you plan on being there, please let me know ASAP.

Also, Martin Hayes and Dennis Cahill are playing at McCabe's Guitar Shop in Santa Monica on Sunday evening, so there will be an unofficial post-tionól field trip over there More info at http://www.mccabes.com/condata.html

I was only able to be there Saturday, but indeed my time spent at the Tionol was great! Mickey is a very positive and first rate instructor; a very nice gentleman. I learned a lot. Thanks Larry and Linda for your hospitality and your kindness to my wife. It will not be soon forgotten!

For the record, I think the hornpipe Mickey taught is called the Bel Harbour hornpipe. Its the same one Maire Ni Ghrada played when she was here. If you have a copy of the tionol recording, its the 2nd tune after Chief O'Neill's.

And I think its worming its way into my head. He certainly puts a BUNCH of triplets into his playing.

Unfortunately I couldn't get over to Larry's on Sunday as well so someone needs to tell us what transpired.
