FS: Kirk Lynch half set

Post by Baen »

I have a Kirk Lynch half set that I'm forced to sell due to not having time to play it, and realistically not seeing that changing in the future.

So, it's with a heavy heart that I put it up for sale. Here are the specifics:

-in ebony and nickle plated brass
-chanter has C natural and F natural keys
-wooden reed cap
-includes extra reed
-will also include HJ Clarke's The New Approach to Uilleann Piping, The UP Art of Uilleann Piping Volume 1 DVD, and a digital hygrometer

Will be getting some pictures in the next few days. The set is a standard Kirk Lynch design. I received it back in April of 2006 after being on a waiting list for about 2 years, and have played it a few dozen times. No damage or any other issues with it, although the reeds do need some work (typical adjustment). I only focused on the chanter, and have left the drones turned off.

I just looked at Kirk's website and at current cost this would run about $3500.

I paid $3025 for the set back in 2006, and am asking $3000. Please PM me if interested. I'm located in the San Francisco bay area.
