anyone know anything about set or seller, first sale - zero feedback rating
tried to contact thro ebay but still no answer, then checked website in the add and the email given there bounced back

None of which are good signs, usually, but everyone starts somewhere. It's scary being the bidder on such an expensive item when there's no record to go by. Also, language barrier seems to be in play a little here--that's obviously a bass reg, not a bass drone.

Xufu is a fine musician and good to deal with, as I see it. I bought a great Wooff C chanter from him in 2002 via this board. He tried to sell the Roberts set then as well (http://chiffboard.mati.ca/viewtopic.php ... highlight=) but apparently changed his mind and kept it until now.
The given web address (try http://usuarios.lycos.es/xufu/ ) works fine for me. As I see it, worth trying - unless it's a fraud which I don't think. You could also try contacting via PM.
