Reeding services.

I just want to let y'all know that I will temnporarily stop taking reed orders the 28th of this month (February) for at least a month's time, maybe longer. I will be traveling and do not plan to be home for a bit... perhaps not until June. So if you would like me to build you a reed or two, now is the time to have it done.

To those who already have ordered and their chanters are in my shop, not to worry, the work will be done (it's nearly finished now) and your instruments will be back into your hands shortly.

Thanks.

-Joseph.

It is OK to do so, but no more than once a month.

As usual for this and virtually every other post the repliers do not read the original post. It is not commercial so AM you are well out of order.

All Joseph is saying is that he will be away and will not be taking orders for more reeds and that anyone who was considering ordering from him should get in quickly

It does not affect me as I am in the UK but it is thoughtful of Joseph to give fellow members of this forum warning that he will not be around for a while.

Of course while the moderator is away mayhem could be king or will Joseph be logging on from wherever he is to keep us all in check

Cheers

John

Thanks John, that was the intent. But even if it wasn't, my post would be appropriate... once a month.

And yes I'll be away, but fear not, my evil twin will be on hand to piss you guys off. :D

Have heard of travelling pipers - e.g. Felix Doran "Last of the Travelling Pipers" - is Joseph Smith to be the "First of the Travelling Reedmakers"

Have a good trip Joseph

Yeah I heard you're coming out here for a workshop. I'm hoping to make it if possible. Have a good trip if not.
