I just want to say....

A forum about Uilleann (Irish) pipes and the surly people who play them.

Tell us something.: I play a full set of Seth Gallagher uilleann pipes, have been taking lessons, listening, and practicing since 1983. Teachers have included Bill Ochs, and David Power.

best wishes

David, you've helped me further along the piping journey than any other teacher, thanks! Will miss you and your lovely family.

You have created the friends and contacts (and eager audience) for many future tours of America! We'll see you again, no doubt. Good luck in all things.

David,

Will the new CD be "My Love Is In West-Waterford"? :) Good luck with the move.

Turas maith ag tusa 's do clann.

A huge pleasure getting to know you. Keep up with those beautiful airs.

I hope you and the rest of your family have a peacful and easy transition back to life in Ireland. Life is good here for me but I'm very jealous in a way.
I'll hope to see you at home over christmas for a tune and a chat. No guitars

Safe home.

Yes, most definitely, safe home, David. It was great hanging out with you in Minnesota and Chicago, I hope you had a good time, too. Come back again soon.

Best

We were fortunate to have you out to the Salt Lake Piping Club two years in a row. Thanks for the excellent classes and outstanding performances.

Good riddance and I'm happy to see the back of ya. Commin' over here with your fancy pipes and your fancy triplets and ornaments and all. I got so discouraged, I went out and bought myself a harmonica. And now it takes all your hands and legs to play that thing and I can play this with one hand and beat you over the head with the other!
