Pipes for Sale - Full Lambe Set in C

Post by Greg Schnider »

Hi,

I have decided to sell my Lambe C full-set. It is working great, but I never play it and I would like it to go to a home where it would get at least a little use.

It was made in the early 1980's and is fully reeded and going well. It is made of rosewood and brass. there are no keys on the chanter, but the High-C hole has been pre-drilled and filled in with a piece of cork. The mounts of course are there. It includes the typical butyl-rubber bag that Eugene Lambe used as well as a green velvet bag cover.

I will post pictures if anyone is interested.

Asking C$4500 OBO.

If anyone is interested in more information, contact me through PM.

For those of you who asked, I made the chanter, drone and bass reg reeds. The tenor and baritone reg reeds are original. I still have the other original reeds that I would include as well.

I will try and get some sound samples posted this weekend.
