pipes pics

Post by lundblad »

Here are a few pics of my s. Gallagher set in D. Got it in October last year.
Silver ferrules ebony and boxwood. In myopinion a very nice looking piece of art.
The reed closed up a bit so I have just adjusted it a tiny bit. Plays spot on with a nice tone, and quite powerful with the drones and regs, Feels like the "beast"is alive. Not easy to play in a 44m2 flat with a girlfriend that is trying to study..hehe.
Rob.
Will have a few soundsamples up shortly.

Swell looking set!
There's and old Irish saying that says pretty much anything you want it to.

They look even better IRL, beautiful workmanship! Personally I really like the look of boxwood ferrules.

Rob: I had a really good time at Karlsson Garage last friday!

Not easy to blow any more since I adjusted the reed a bit, but now the regs are more easy to play with a steady preassure.

Nice Avatar Dale. That movie is so bad it is good. Fun to watch such a dog. I remember it won the Golden Turkey Award.

Nice set of pipes Rob. Seth does good work. Nice guy too.

Worth every "cent" It's a beauty to look at, sounds like I want to or as a friend of mine said: They sound like the pipes you hear on a record...laughter.
Seth is a really great person and very hospitable. A pity its so far between Sweden and US.
