Twenty-Fifth Anniversary of John Lennon being shot outside the Dakota in NY. Paddy Moloney was due to be in the Abbey Road studio with Paul McCartney the next day. He called first and was told to still come. They just sat and talked about John.

Paddy Moloney's early solos on the Chieftains LPs were recorded in the Abbey Road studios. Paul popped in when he was recording one of them.
