Mark your calendars for the South East Tionól in Atlanta (well technically it'll be in Marietta but most of you wouldn't know where that is). :)

We'll start with registration and sessions at a local pub on Friday night.
Classes will be on Saturday and Sunday with a concert at a local theater/theatre on Saturday night.

Workshops will be in Uilleann pipes and fiddle. We are excited that the remarkable David Power has agreed to be one of the piping instructors.

A second piping instructor and the fiddle instructor will be announced soon. Additional instructors and instruments may be added depending on interest.

We'll be posting updates and signup information on our club website at
http://southeastpipersclub.org

Stay tuned....

This event is still a ways of...but lets get some feedback here about the numbers of folks who think that they might attend this event so we can anticipate space and instructor needs.

I'm in....that's two of us Gary!

I can't commit as of yet, as I am not certain if I will have 'wheels' at that time or not. But if I do have wheels, I am in for certain! :D

I plan on being there, despite having lived in Marietta previously :P
Still, it will be a bit early in the season for tubing on the 'Hootch.

I'm up for standing on the river bank, drinking a pint and watching you if you want to go tubing. :)

We'll have an online form in a few weeks and can start taking advance reservations. Meanwhile, please let us know if you are interested...the earlier we know the better.

Once I get a couple of more details finalized, we'll have a reasonable estimate of all the costs and then can set the price accordingly (i.e. breakeven).

that ought to scare off a few folks. :-)

If all is well with the bambino, you can count on me.

If I may, I would suggest pinning down the fiddle instructor soon as I know of a great number of attendees from past Florida tionol's would are hoping to come, as far as from Vermont.

A good flute instructor would also get at least a dozen folks from Florida alone to come up...

Perhaps first time out, I would consider sticking to just pipes, flute, and fiddle...

Good luck and let me know if you need help contacting the other instrumental instructors.
