Allan Moller had for sale in October 03 70's Hughes and McLeod C chanter. Reeded by himself with
spare. Key lugs and C+F keys. Ready to go on. £375

Email him at mollerfam@breathe.com to see if he still has the c chanter

All the best

I do not but if I did I would lend it to you . Though , as it is zero degrees here in maine , I would say , go bundled up ,, or stay home .
I think that it does not hurt to ask ,, :) ,, and it is showing your humanity . It is all too easy to get into a " bad boy " attitude on the net as it is so private , as are the pipes ,, . What we say makes a difference , and when we say something nice , people glow with health . If someone has a c chanter that they are not happy with , just give it , or loan it . Whats the harm ? It is not like we are all guitar players here , a dime a dozen , we need to come out of the black box , and lend a healping hand . to eachother . Pipers can get too laid up in themselves , and it is nice to see that we can easily rely on eachother .
Really it is true that the pipes are integral , and that as I have heard , there are an infinite number of , styles , chanters , pitches ect . So why
not be humble , and calm your pride. and be happy that you can play them ?

So, that's where you've been tok...hibernating. That was quite a winter up your way. I heard it was -45 deg. several night on Mt. Washington. Well stay warm, I hear there's a drink that can make you feel warm all over...that is if you run out of red pepper for your socks. :D

Glad to hear it Ojvoj :-) In all sincerity, I do hope someone can lend you a chanter - there are some really wonderful and generous people on this board. All the best!

The problem is fixed. I ordered a C nat chanter from David Boisvert and it will be ready in 3 months.
