Hello,
Sorry if this has been discussed before ..
The drone reeds in my new drones are what I would call the inverted variety. That is, the blade points toward the drones rather than toward the air source. Maybe that's not unusual for some but I was wondering what people thought of this setup compared to what I consider a more conventional one. I like the tone but they seem a little more apt to waver in pitch with pressure changes. I was always able to tweek my old reeds fairly well but bridle, wax etc. don't seem to be as predictable with these. Anyone have any insight?
