We are running a Tionól in Manchester with Calum Stewart
Concert on Friday 24th March, workshops on Saturday 25th March.
Here are the details:
The concert will be at 8pm on Friday 24th March at Chorlton Irish Club and will feature our guest piper Calum Stewart.
Support will be from Ríoghnach Connolly, as well as some of our young pipers.
Tickets can be purchased on the door and will be priced at:
Adults £10.00
Concessions £8.00
Under 16yrs £5.00
Advanced tickets will be available from the usual sources.

Piping workshops will happen on Saturday 25th March at Birch Community Centre. 10am – 4pm

10am - Tea and Coffee. Jim and David will be highlighting their Barista skills to get the day off to a lively start.
10.30-11.30 - Beginners Uilleann Pipes with Calum Stewart.
10.30-11.30 - Using staccato and tonal variation with David Lim
10.30 - 15.00 Reed Making with Sean Jones
12.00 - 13.00 Try the pipes with Jim Horan
12.00-13.00 - Intermediate Uilleann Pipes with Calum Stewart.
13.00-13.30 - Tuning your chanter with David Lim
14.00-15.00 - Advanced Uilleann Pipes with Calum Stewart.
Day tickets costs £15 - attend one workshop with Calum and as many others as you wish.
Under 16 - £9
