Lady Pipers

Post by kathaleenypoopa »

There is a series on TG4 right now called Mná an Cheoil - a six part show that explores the legacy of women in Irish music. The fourth part was just published on their website and is about uilleann pipers. It's available to be viewed for about a month. Enjoy!

Lovely series. I certainly hope that TG4 would continue to document the women of Irish traditional music beyond the six part broadcasts that are being done so well.

If you want to watch the prog, do so soon, as they only stay up for a limited time on the TG4 website.
