Here is a Concert D set of pipes made in Chris Bayley's workshop. Chris made the chanter, I keyed it up and finished it, and made the drones under his direction. It has the full 6 keys: C natural, F natural, G sharp and B flat, with a High D key and a low E flat key. It is made from Blackwood, with Brass metal work and imitation ivory mounts. A wooden chanter top is included. It is reeded, playing in tune over two full octaves and has an excellent tone.
The drones are in the traditional style, with hand tapered long ferrules on the tuning slides. A good quality set of my bellows, double padded for comfort, and a hand stitched leather bag completes the set.
