Tionols in North America

Post by kathaleenypoopa »

Hi all -

I'm sure this has been swallowed and regurgitated a few times through the years, but thought I'd share a listing of all the current Tionols (& workshops/music weeks) by calendar year in North America for those of you looking for comraderie and UP lessons in person. Tionols are great craic and can be a piping-mind-blowing experience! Please comment if there are any that need to be on the list but aren't.

Tell us something.: I like whistles, flutes, lyres, cittern/mandolin/bouzouki family instruments, as well as heavy and nasty slap bass. Languages, linguistics, history (especially Migration Period and Bronze Age Europe), cuisine from various parts of Latin America, chili growing, bushcraft, and the works of JRR Tolkien also tickle my fancy.

I was interested in checking out the website, but I am receiving an error message when I try to bring up the page. Is there an error with the link, or is it a problem on my end?

Possibly. Working just fine for me although in fairness I did get a 'server not found' message earlier today.

Tell us something.: I'm a fiddler and, latterly, a fluter. I love the flute. I wish I'd always played it. I love the whistle as well. I'm blessed in having really lovely instruments for all of my musical interests.
