My mate has one of your B chanters up here in Yorkshire and it played very very nicely Brendan, it has a elder reed in it if I'm not mistaken and it also sounded as good of any B chanter I've heard, infact I will personaly say this! it is the best B chanter I've played so far by ten or so different makers of B chanters.. all the best.
