Robbie Hughes sets on eBay?
There are currently 3 listings of Robbie Hughes sets on eBay. The final one looks genuine enough, but there are two listings by seller nihicib2, who has only 2 pieces of feedback, with identical photos. At one point one of the identical listings had "Robbie Hannon" (sic) somehwere in the listings or subtitle. What's going on here?

Well, something's going on. Either the seller has accidentally listed the item twice (in which case one iof the auctions can't be fulfilled) or the seller is using the the wrong photos for at least one of the sets. Assuming that it's a genuine sale.Jim McGuire wrote:There's nothing going on here - check with the Seller(s).

Would you stop sending these dismissive replies, Jim? It's perfectly appropriate to point out suspicious listings on eBay and to ask if Chiff members know anything about it. As it happens I did contact the seller and the second auction was a mistake, and the seller has now removed it.Jim McGuire wrote:Again, nothing happening here on Chiff. Sort out the seller - privately.smithand wrote:Well, something's going on.Jim McGuire wrote:There's nothing going on here - check with the Seller(s).

Jim, the initial question was obviously whether it was a legitimate transaction, since duplicate listings from a seller with a low feedback suggests a scam. Now we've established that the duplicate listings seems to be a genuine mistake from a first-time eBay seller, you are now welcome to spend the rest of the thread telling us what you make of the chanter.Jim McGuire wrote:Great that you know to go to the seller to figure it all out. If there were issues or concerns, you could take them to eBAY.
In fairness to the board, we should be discussing things related to the item - 'what do you make of the chanter?' - and not what is wrong with the seller, transaction, etc.
