You could save yourself some time by searching the board for past threads :) . In fact, you can probably find discussions about sets from most makers.

Cheers Jessica,

I've a lot of info on other makers, thanks. I already searched for Arie's info and Ive already contacted him too. However here's a summary of the UP forum posts: -
"Arie makes lovely stuff..."
"bought an Arie de Keyser half set on eBay..."
"Recently rereeded by Arie De Keyzer..."
"Arie de Keyser's trick for curing autocran is..."
"This set is not made by Arie and is Pakistani made..."
"They were made by DeKeyser Arie..."
"Arie De Keyser did NOT make those pipes..."
"Isn't he the imaginary guy played by Kevin Spacey..."

See. I'm a bit spaced out by the comments :o
and wondered if there was feedback the forum wished to share?

Yes, there was the unfortunate case of a person who bought some pipes built by Mr. Pak I. Stani on eBay, and somehow got the idea that they were de Keyzer built. That bit of noise can mislead. Perhaps someone who has a set will put in a comment.

I have played a flemish bagpipe by Arie(belgium, same type of chanter as on most french pipes). It was a truly wonderful instrument of beatiful workmanship. This instrument was made in mid 1990ies, and what I heard he makes most uilleann after that. But if he has continued to develop his work during theese 10 years his instruments must be amazing now
