animated
Any one know how to make an animated gif, tiff, jpg for an avatar?
I was hoping to get some colors to look like they are swirling/moving.
Thanks.

There's all sorts of stuff out there on the web that'll do it. Animation Shop, for example, which is part of Paintshop Pro.

Stuff like the Gif Construction Set, for example.
Hope this helps.

Re: Guide to Posting Images
I am working on getting a pic and I got to this point
I did the copy stuff once and when I tried to do it again, the word 'copy' did not appear, like it was already there (wherever "there" is).
Please help! It sounded so simple when you explained it . . .
and everything fell apart. Where is the typing window?GaryKelly wrote:
See the little square box with the word "Img" in it, just above the typing window? Click that. It'll put a "tag" into your typing window like this:

Hi scarhand---
Where is the typing window? The "typing window" is the large rectangular white space that you typed this very question into. It is what you type your responses into. Does that make sense?
The copy stuff----Okay, you got the word "copy" one time and you clicked on it. So then you copied the image. If you went back to that image and "copy" didn't show up could that be because the image is already on your clipboard---it was already there. Once you copy, then the word that will come up should be paste. So, you get [img] in the typing window. Then you can right click with your mouse and the word "paste" should show. You could also click on "Edit" at the very top of your screen and then click on "paste".
I'm sure the first answer should help you. I am not sure the second one will because I am not quite sure what you mean.

actually, it was the first question that i really needed the answer to.
but my following question is, if i'm pulling this picture from some other website on the internet, how does the URL get into a box on the C&F message board? it's not that i don't trust you, but i'm a doubting thomas from a different religion . . .
