FS: Casey Burns boxwood D flute SOLD

Post by dow »

I've had this flute for about two years, and it's time for it to go to a new home. Casey tells me that it was made sometime around 2004, and that it is definitely from his curley boxwood stash that was harvested in the 1980's. I traded Eilam for it, and he had it from Barry (greenspiderweb). This is a beautiful flute and a fine player, and if I was still playing sessions it wouldn't be for sale. However, with the demands of work, family, and church, I haven't been to a session in almost two years. I'm asking $600.00 shipped within the US, and the price includes the green padded flute bag in the picture. This is NOT one of Casey's seconds flutes, and so can be upgraded with rings and keys if you so wish.

You can see a picture of it here: http://db.tt/CvQjvevI

Thanks for your consideration,
