I have a Fentum just like this, 4key, short foot in D, I will go measure the flute...

I've measured my Boosey in Eb with short foot and it's the very same length...

Woo ho! this doesn't mean that I won the bid... But it will be fun to compare it to my short foot Fentum. Mine is a inch longer, but the head joint is a Blackman...

Aah, misssed it by a narrow margin. Maybe Jon, you will want to get rid of it sometime in the future?

Well Moritz, who knows what the future will bring?

Of what is known is that it will be brought back from the grave and given some well deserved love. Actually, it only looks "mostly dead" so that's good. :D

Given the number of great Fentum I have had the luck to drive about there is a rather high chance this will be a good player no matter what key it ends up being.

I'm actually putting my money on the short foot D ala Jon's but if it is an Eb it will be a nice match to my Wylde D.

We'll see how it compares to my Hawks & Sons Eb.

I'm not a flute hoarder... mostly. So it may need a caring home if it doesn't get regularly played. :)

Oh, sorry about the out bidding thing. Just business you understand. Jon has snatched a few from me and I still like him... kinda. ;) :D

No offence taken, honestly. You deserve your snatch. Hopefully, it will be a nice one!

A common misconception when outbid on eBay, but pure guesswork unless you're beaten by less than a bid increment (which wasn't the case here)!
