Some fantastic flute playing going on there. Anyone have any idea what the first tune is? Or the 2 reels?

-Thanks

Thanks guys.

Anyway, the word from the man himself (by way of trustworthy intermediary) is that the first tune is Kentucky old time tune he doesn't know the name of, and the 2 reels are the Milky Way and John Egan's, as mentioned above.

The first tune sounds like a barndance. Then again, many non-ITM tunes can end up sounding like barndances when brought in.

That's what my first reaction was as well, but somehow I thought the rhythm was not quite right for a barndance (?).

Any chance you could do us (me) a huge favor and post a rough transcription? Normally I'd try to do this myself, but my youtube downloaders don't like this video so I can't slow them down in transcribe, and he's in Eb I think so learning it at speed is still beyond me...

EDIT: To clarify, I meant the Kentucky thingy, not the reels.

Try http://file2hd.com/. You can DL the vid, or just the extracted audio.
