looking for Indifference - Tony Murena

Post by yvie »

Hi all,
this is probably a long shot, I am trying to find notation for the above song Indifference, by Tony Murena, it's primarily an accordian piece, and I have found a pdf for the notes on accordian, but they go lower and way higher than I can get on my keyed flute, I have a seven keyed simple system flute, the link below is a Boehm flute guitar duo, so the music must be out there, I'm happy to buy it just need to find it, all help much appreciated.

Tell us something.: I'm a fiddler and, latterly, a fluter. I love the flute. I wish I'd always played it. I love the whistle as well. I'm blessed in having really lovely instruments for all of my musical interests.

I've lapsed into playing this on the flute on the odd occasion. You can find the notes by searching on google for Indifference_-_Valse_Musette_-_Spartito.pdf and then following the results to a Rapid Share to the pdf file.

Thie link worked a while ago but I think it might expire: http://www.filestube.com/2283469b27b621c603ea/go.html . There are lots of recordings on youtube - I've found the accordion (and some guitar) ones to be more convincing than any efforts on other implements.

Our own Rob Sharer has recorded a nice version of Indifference with his band Craicdown (David DiGiuseppe on accordion). Maybe Rob can put up a sample or a link.

I feel seasick.

Don't players realize how silly they look when they jerk around like marionettes?
