Warning - Thread Revival....

Here's yet another American (N York) made flute - a C Peloubet - with a claw arrangement for the C/C# touches:

Was thinking ... since when did North Yorkshire move to America? :-)

New York, NY, NYC ... never seen N York as an abbreviation.

York is a funny word. York, york, york.

Oh, never mind. Back to flutes ...

North Yorkshire abbreviates to "N Yorks". Never without the "s".

Yes, I know. Just as Herefordshire abbreviates to "Herfs". Ask Ben about that one. :P

Tell us something.: I'm a fiddler and, latterly, a fluter. I love the flute. I wish I'd always played it. I love the whistle as well. I'm blessed in having really lovely instruments for all of my musical interests.

Hmmm ... I wonder if my details are out of date. Quite possible. The only address I can get online is 16 New Street, Gloucester. But that is a private house, and it could, in any case, be out of date for our Phil ... :-?

Hmm, also. . .the return on my packing is Gloucester. . .and yet somewhere about I have a customs declaration which I recall as listing Herefordshire. . .and my rather frail memory recalls the listing as originating in Herefordshire. . .our 'boy' seems to get around! I see the Ebay store listing is in Gloucester as well. . .now I am in a muddle.
