Don't know if this has been posted before, video on the Kerry whistle site in the movies section, file name At First Light_Camden_02_1.wmv. Love this music. Anyone know the tune?

Here's a transcription off the video at Kerry whistles of John McSherry and Mike McGoldrick playing this tune. I've noted it here in Bm, which gives the fingering McSherry and McGoldrick are using on F whistles.

Alan Ng's site credits Donald Shaw as the composer.

i learned the first tune in that video the other night, but as John Henry's Favorite, off The Story so Far by flute player John Creaven. Its a really nice, and neat to hear these guys playing it.

Johnny Henry's favourite, being named after the famous Johnny "Watt" Henry, fiddle player and brother to Chicago's Kevin Henry. Kevin doesn't seem to know the tune, curiously.

Johnny Henry's is also known as "Donald blue".
