Buy this man's stuff

Post by Rosemary Lane »

How can anybody resist buying this man's stuff. Go to the Ebay site and just look at all those kids.
This man is either totally mad or totally sainted.

Tell us something.: I've been playing whistle for a very long time, but never seem to get any better than I was about 10 years ago. I'm okay with that. :)

Thanks all,

They're great kids and pretty good musicians. :)

We just a got asked to do the entertainment for a fund-raiser dinner for our US senator (yes, Idaho has senators).

Further evidence of our nation's poilitical decline I'm afraid.

$100 bucks a plate if anybody's interested.

Actually the kids are quite exited. We home-school them and have recently been studying the three branches of government, the congress, the legislative process, etc. So when they heard that Senator Craig wanted them to come play they were Really charged up. They jumped and screamed and laughed and bounced around for about an hour.

Last time I saw anything like that was the time I fed them all Fruit Loops for breakfast....scary. :boggle:

Homeschooling: It's a child, not a choice. :D

A lot of my friends at my boardingschool in highschool were homeschooled, so we always playfully made fun of them. All goodhearted, though. Good luck with it all.

Politics and home-schooling?

Post by David Levine »

So the question is, Pat, do you support Sen. Craig? He strikes me as just another Republican hack politician from a right-wing state.
He attacked Al Gore when Gore spoke of global warming. He has nothing new to offer regarding Iraq. He supports the Republican goal of limited govenment except when it comes to making war and safe-guarding the interests of global corporations like Halliburton.

Tell us something.: Hi, I wanted to post my whistle that’s for sale. I hope this is OK, I haven’t posted for a long time.

Please, could the political discussion be taken to a political thread? Thanks.

Hope the auction's going well. I'm glad they were so excited to be asked to play. They'll get to meet so many different people they wouldn't meet otherwise through playing.

Good luck!
