Although I just bought this 1840s Rudall & Rose, I'm in need of cash for a new car, rather than spending to renovate it. Thus it goes back on the market.

This is a large-holed, Patent head flute with nicholson type right hand section - eased finger holes and up-turned long F.

All metal pieces in great condition - keys, rings, springs and patent mechanism. The patent head turns easily and smoothly.

It needs some repairs to various wood parts, in particular some long but narrow cracks in the head and barrel. Also you may want to repair the short F block and the shoulder of one section, which is an esthetic rather than necessary concern.

The right hand section does come from a different flute.

I was able to plug the key holes with poster putty and get the flute playing at A440 with about 15mm of extension. Your embouchure might vary.
